Main objectives of the method

CogMed is a program that seeks to strengthen cognitive functions.

This program is an intensive and specific training of working memory, auditory attention and visual attention, which are at the heart of learning and daily life. This program has 16 years of experience, was designed by Swedish neurologists, and has been adapted in French since 2012.


Cellfield aims to improve the reading and writing skills of people with dyslexia or reading difficulties. Work on memory is one of the pillars of the program.


Covirtua Healthcare is designed to respond to more severe cognitive disorders than those targeted by CogMed. Corvirtua offers an innovative software solution based on virtual reality. 


Quertant (CPS), developed by Georges Quertant (1894-1964), is a method that regulates the nervous system and emotional system through specific visual exercises. This method has been approved by the State Secretariat for Family and Health and is used to treat nervous functional disorders.

Specificities of the method


COGMED is a computer training in the form of games, from 10 minutes to 1 hour, adapted according to the age of the patient, practiced from home by Internet, the complete program includes 5 trainings/week to do from home for 5 weeks, with 5 follow-up interviews in the office. 


Cellfield Program

Cellfield is also different because the work is done primarily on a particular software on the computer. This program consists of ten one-hour sessions spread over two weeks, and then another ten sessions spread over ten weeks. Thus, this program requires much less time than the Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell or Barton programs. 


Covirtua Cognition

The exercises immerse the patient in everyday life situations. Thanks to Virtual Reality, the patient can move, act and communicate with virtual characters. For example, he is immersed in a shopping mall, shopping, in a school to take a lesson or an exam, in the street to learn how to find his way around. 


Quertant (CPS)

A session lasts 30 minutes, twice a week, with at least one day between each session. 

Who is this method for ?


Initially intended for children, adolescents and adults with ADHD, it is now used in hospital neurology departments for patients with stroke, but also for other patients with learning disabilities.


Cellfield Program

For people with: dyslexia, poor reading, spelling, writing skills. But above all also for people with poor memory and difficulty remembering what they have read. 


Covirtua Cognition offers innovative cognitive rehabilitation to a wide variety of profiles, such as a 40-year-old stroke victim who no longer spots himself in his neighbourhood, a girl with learning disabilities (dyslexia) or a 70-year-old unable to prepare a meal due to Alzheimer's disease.
